home / Education data / Shooting an arrow during horse-riding

This is a form of martial arts. Horse riders would ride a horse and start shooting arrows at targets.
We can assume from wall paintings that during the period of three-kingdoms in Korea, people frequently went shooting with a bow.
In the older days, people enjoyed riding and shooting at the same time. During the Chosun Period, as a part of a state examination,
it was mandatory for examinees to shoot at a round target and a scarecrow.
